Wedding Date

I am so excited for Prince William and Kate Middleton to get married! I have been obsessed with Kate's style since I heard about her and I think she is just so classic and timeless. A present day Jackie-O.

My favorites are the second and third looks. I cannot wait until they get married. I'm going to blog sooo much about their wedding. Loveeee her. Any comments?

Do You Like My Outfit?

Um I want to do something once a month where I pick out a full outfit and post pictures of what I want to get. Your comments on whether or not you like them will help me to decide whether or not I want to buy it. If you have any suggestions or alternatives you should leave a comment and let me know. :)

Of course when I have the outfit I will accessorize but yeah. I was talking to my roommate about color schemes for her room in her new house and I saw a nudey pink color and thought to myself, I really have nothing in my closet that color and it actually looks really good on me. So I decided on investing in this outfit. The shoes are Steve Madden, the hat is from Torrid, the sweater is from Avenue, and the leggings are from Denim 24/7. I found all of the clothes on a plus-sized shopping site called OneStopPlus.com which is really cool if you're plus sized girl like myself. Some of their things are a little frumpy looking but I also think that things will look different on you depending on your shape because plus sized girls aren't all shaped the same. But yeah good site and umm just let me know what you guys think about this outfit. If you like it and I can muster up the funds to get it, I will take pictures of myself in it and post them later. Ta ta!

Laquan Smith

I was surfing the web and stumbled upon this designer named Laquan Smith who designed Amber Riley's dress on the cover of Essence magazine. In case you didn't know Amber Riley plays Mercedes on the Fox show Glee and Essence is a magazine centered around black women. When I saw the cover of this magazine I was like holy crap! Amber looked amazing. Here's a picture:

So after I saw this and thought it was pretty I looked up some more of his designs and his line for this season is out of control. I think I have a new crush. Anyway, here are some of his looks that I found on his website.

The make up thing doesn't really fit, but as you well know, I love make up. So I liked it haha. Anyway, in case you didn't already notice, I'm pretty sure the girl to the left in the picture above is Jaslene from ANTM cycle 8. I love seeing those girls involved with actual fashion.

But yeah, the pieces are awesome and the shoes aren't his, but they were used in his show and I liked them.

Also, according to fashionbombdaily.com he might very well be coming out with a plus sized line soon which is awesome for people like me who eat too much. Regardless, I will definitely be paying more attention to him in the future.

Jimmy Choos :)

Okay so I was on JimmyChoo.com looking at their spring/summer collection and found two shoes that I thought were absolutely gorgeous that I wanted to blog about. :) Oh and I found a bag that I just had to put up because I want it sooo bad. Too bad I don't have $1250.00!

Elba

Most of the shoes I saw from this collection had that gladiator shoe look which I am completely not into. I'm sorry maybe I have bad taste but I think they are so lucky. It's also probably because I have flat wide feet so I have to be very particular about the shoes I wear and strappy ones normally don't go well with my feet. The Elba shoe is kind of pushing it, but it was just too pretty to ignore. Maybe one day I can actually invest in these dream items. :( *crosses fingers*

I love the colors of this collection though. You should definitely visit the website and take a look because of course you might like things that I don't. As for the bag, I love animal prints in moderation but this bag just called to me. The handles are snakeskin and omg I just want it so bad. I did see something that looked quite similar to this bag on Canal St. in Chinatown, NYC so who knows. Maybe I'll pick it up later. :)

Blue Sweater and Makeup :)

So I have this blue sweater that I love but the only camera I have right now is on my mac and I didn't feel like doing a full body shot because I knew it wouldn't be flattering. But this post was more about my make up than anything else.

Foundation: Clinique

Eyeshadow: No name brand actually. But I used an urban decay primer potion which is actually the best primer I've ever used haha. So it really makes even the shittiest eyeshadow look good and stay on. The eyeshadow was a gift from my mom and she's cute and gets me drugstore brand things but its okay because I got a lot of colors for cheap and thanks to the primer potion it looks fine anyway. :D

Lip Gloss: I also used a no brand pink lip gloss inspired by Nicki Minaj because we have a similar complexion and I never thought pink would look nice on me until I saw it on her.

Eye Liner: Urban Decay zero pencil liner. I didn't use liquid for the top like I normally do because I can't find it and I'm so upset. But yeah, I think it came out pretty decent regardless.

Mascara: I actually used a cheap drugstore mascara as like a base and then went over it with Sephora and I really like how it came out. Its not clumpy per say but its really thick and I like that. I like long lashes but I like to accentuate them but making my mascara as thick as possible and making sure my lashes are separated so it doesn't look shitty.

That's pretty much all I used. I used a little bit of blush as well but you can't really see it because of the lighting in my room. >=O I don't know. I really love make up, I just wish I had the money to buy all of the stuff I want. My next investment is a professional Sephora brush kit.
Isn't it boooooootiful? :D

I know MAC Brushes are better, but this works for the girls at Ulta, so I'm sure I'll live for now on my college budget. Hopefully if I get this job tomorrow *fingers crossed* I'll be able to invest in more things on my every so widening coveted list.

Well goodnight lovelies. That's all for today.
